Fall?

The fashion mags and calendar tell me that it is supposed to be firmly Fall now.  With Halloween is a mere 15 days away, my body is conditioned for the changing of the seasons around this time of year.  Except:

That’s not autumn-like weather at all!  Is it weird to miss having the seasons?  Bay Area natives don’t see to mind it at all.  I guess that the sweaters are staying in the closet for now…

This is how I feel about October baseball this year

No fall baseball in New York this year.  The Yankees could not salvage their season and packed their bags in September for the first time in 14 years and it was another disastrous September for the Mets.  Sigh.

 

Tampa Bay Rays all the way!  Who woulda thunk you’d ever say that anytime soon?
